With Oceamo Regulator, your reef aquarium is optimally supplied with inorganic trace elements (by Regulator A) and organic nutrients and iodine (Regulator O). - The be-all and end-all of extended reef supply!
Together, Regulator A & Regulator O are a strong team and the perfect complement to our duo universal service system.
However, Regulator A + O can be used flexibly and can therefore also be used in combination with other systems such as the classic Balling method or with lime reactors.
Regulator A contains essential inorganic trace elements for a reef aquarium in bioavailable form. Inorganic trace elements are rapidly consumed with good coral growth and must therefore be supplemented regularly to ensure continued good growth, polyp appearance and color expression of the corals. Inorganic trace elements form active centers of enzymes, and are therefore required for a variety of metabolic processes in reef aquariums such as.B photosynthesis.
Regulator A can be used for trace element supply alone, but we recommend using it together with Oceamo Regulator O.
Regulator O provides organic molecules such as amino acids and various carbon sources in near-natural concentrations and ratios to corals and the overall ecosystem reef aquarium. This stimulates metabolism and growth, making it easier to break down excess inorganic nutrients (phosphate and nitrate).
At the same time, Oceamo Regulator O is a modern source of nitrogen available in nutrient-poor basins, which can be used well by corals. In addition, Regulator O contains a basic supply of bioavailable iodine.
Of course, in our laboratory, all raw materials and products are subjected to strict quality control (using ICP-OES and other methods). This allows us to guarantee a consistently high quality of our products.
Oceamo Regulator A and O are ideally used together with the Oceamo basic supply DUO, but can also be used with any conventional balling method or lime reactors.
How is Oceamo Regulator dosed?
Oceamo Reagulator is typically dosed in an amount of 0.5 ml per 100 l of pelvic volume. We recommend manual dosing by syringe. Initially, it should be started with reduced dosage, so that the reef aquarium can get used to the offered trace and nutrients.
Initial dosing scheme:
Week 1: 0.1 ml/100l water volume
Week 2: 0.3 ml/100l water volume
Week 3: 0.4 ml/100l water volume
from week 4: 0.5 ml per 100l water volume
In some pools, it may be useful to increase the daily dosage of Regulator A+O. - However, we clarify this on a case-by-case basis.
Can Regulator A+O be mixed to simplify dosing?
Oceamo Reagulator A+O can be mixed in a 1:1 ratio to simplify daily dosing. However, this mixture has a limited shelf life, as there are interactions between the amino acids and trace metals. We therefore recommend freshly making the 1:1 mixture every 7 days
Oceamo Regulator will:
The supply of the trace elements chromium, cobalt, iron, copper, lithium, manganese, molybdenum, vanadium, tin and zinc in bioavailable form is ensured.
The pool is supplied with all natural proteinogenic amino acids in a near-natural concentration ratio, which serve as a high-quality nitrogen and carbon source, and are directly available to the corals.
The metabolism is stimulated by a variety of other carbon and organic nitrogen compounds (mono- and oligosaccharides, short-chain organic acids, non-proteinogenic amino acids,...).
The nutrient turnover in the aquarium increased
The basic supply with the important trace element iodine is ensured.
